Every single type of ÖHLINS shock absorber is individually designed and produced for specific vehicles and models. The business credo behind every ÖHLINS product is no guarded secret. It is, in a word, precision. Absolute precision provides the ÖHLINSshock absorbers with their perfect potential performance and is a noble guarantee of success!

What are the main advantages of the ÖHLINS shock absorbers?

• Continuously adjustable spring pre-load.
• Vehicle specific production.
• Models with external reservoirs.

The specifications of every single vehicle that has their shock absorbers fitted are first analysed to produce a fully individualised shock absorber specification, no parts-bin specials here! Their factory set up, the design of the shim packages and the complete adjustment range of every feature is researched through extensive testing under both road and race conditions. This is then evaluated by their engineers and transferred directly to the design and behaviour of their products. ÖHLINS shock absorbers are the result of an intensive development procedure and can convince with their excellent production quality and of course their exemplary performance! All models of ÖHLINS shock absorbers are equipped with a continuously adjustable spring pre-load feature, facilitated by adjuster and locking rings below the spring.
